Since the release of the first iPhone in 2007, the world has become increasingly high-tech in the way that it does things. And recently, some people have taken a stance against it, opting to switch for more low-tech options in an increasingly high-tech world.
Here are a few reasons why you should live a low-tech lifestyle.
Without the constant vibrations of a smartphone or the endless social media scrolling, peace of mind will be much, much easier to attain. Everything will be much more convenient, offline, and you won't be looking at your smartphone all day. (that's a good thing, cause blue light is very bad for you.)
Social media is like a drug, and drugs are bad, m'kay! In all seriousness, social media is really, really bad for you. Have you ever opened your Instagram and ended up scrolling for 4 hours? That's what social media was designed to do, and if you're trying to get away from that, a low-tech lifestyle is a very good way to do just that.
If you hate ads as much as I do, you'll understand the frustration I have when one pops up in my face. This happens a LOT when I'm watching YouTube videos on my phone. I have an adblocker installed on my web browser, but if you want to completely rid your life of ads, there are two options out there: a PiHole or the low-tech lifestyle.
